Japan Warns of Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Across East and West Until Tuesday
Japan's weather agency warned on October 17 of thunderstorms, strong wind gusts and sudden heavy rain in eastern and western Japan through Tuesday, caused by a weather front. The warning comes as officials also cancelled an earthquake alert mistakenly issued with a magnitude of 9.9, which disrupted transport.
