Slovenia parliament approves Janez Jansa as prime minister
Slovenia's parliament voted to reappoint right-wing politician Janez Jansa as prime minister on June 27, ending two months of political deadlock. The 67-year-old, who previously served as premier between 2004-2008, 2012-2013, and 2020-2022, secured 51 votes in favor and 36 against. He outlined his agenda, including boosting the economy and fighting corruption.
