US Announces China Will Buy Billions in Agricultural Goods Annually After Trump-Xi Summit
The White House announced November 26 that China will purchase at least $17 billion in U.S. agricultural goods annually through 2028, after a two-day Trump-Xi summit in Beijing. The deal builds on a previous commitment for China to buy 87 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans. China will also restore market access for U.S. beef and poultry, while both sides agreed to establish new trade and investment commissions.
