Dubois Knocks Out Wardley in Round Two to Retain WBO Heavyweight Title
Daniel "Dynamite" Dubois retained his WBO heavyweight title with a second-round stoppage of Fabio Wardley at the O2 Arena in London. Dubois dropped Wardley just 17 seconds into the fight and kept up the pressure until the towel came in during round two. Afterwards, IBF champion Filip Hrgovic, watching ringside, challenged Dubois to a unification bout.
