Kite Carrying Palestinian Children's Messages Reaches Everest Summit
A kite carrying handwritten messages and signatures from Gaza children was flown to the summit of Mount Everest by a team of climbers, led by Palestinian-Jordanian explorer Mostafa Salameh. The expedition aimed to raise $10 million for medical aid and highlight the suffering of children in the Gaza conflict. Salameh remained at base camp due to frostbite but praised the Sherpa team for completing the historic ascent.
