Thirty new lawsuits have been filed in U.S. federal court accusing OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman of negligence in connection with the February mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, Canada, that killed eight people. The suits, filed by attorney Jay Edelson, allege the company knew about the shooter's plans but failed to alert authorities.
