Yemen: Government and Houthis Agree to Largest-Ever Prisoner Exchange of Over 1,600
Yemen's internationally recognized government and the Houthi group have signed a UN-brokered agreement in Jordan to exchange more than 1,600 prisoners, marking the largest such swap since the civil war began in 2014. The deal, reached after months of negotiations, includes the release of Saudi and Sudanese nationals held by the Houthis and hundreds of Houthi detainees held by the government.
