Brazil indicts 16 people over deadly 2024 Voepass plane crash
Brazilian federal police have formally indicted 16 current and former employees of airline Voepass for their roles in the August 2024 crash that killed 62 people. The investigation revealed the aircraft was cleared for takeoff despite known de-icing system failures and severe icing conditions.
