Tunisia Military Court Sentences Opposition Politician Olfa Hamdi to Four Years
A Tunisian military court has sentenced opposition leader Olfa Hamdi to four years in prison on charges of conspiring against national security and inciting the army to disobey orders, her lawyer said. The dual Tunisian-U.S. citizen, who was arrested at Tunis airport in February, has repeatedly criticized President Kais Saied and called for early elections.
