Passenger bus plunges into ravine in Ethiopia, killing at least 31
A passenger bus crashed on a winding mountain road in northern Ethiopia, killing at least 31 people and leaving dozens injured. The vehicle, which was overloaded, plunged about 100 meters into a ravine near the town of Dessie. Ethiopia has one of the highest road fatality rates in the world, with safety issues including poor infrastructure and a lack of emergency services.
