Anduril to Invest $3.7B in Submarine Factory, Secures $2.9B U.S. Navy Contract
Anduril Industries will invest $3.7 billion to build a new shipyard in Maryland, called Arsenal-2, to produce key components for Virginia-class attack submarines, while also securing a $2.9 billion U.S. Navy contract for submarine parts. The project is expected to create 3,100 direct jobs and more than 11,000 indirect positions.
