British climber sets record with 20th Everest summit
British climber Kenton Cool, 52, has set a record by summiting Everest for the 20th time, becoming the first non-Nepali to do so. The milestone comes amid heightened concern over overcrowding and safety, as two Indian climbers died on the mountain this week. Cool's achievement follows a single-day record of more than 270 ascents on the Nepali side.
