How did AIPAC-backed candidates fare in the US midterm elections?
In the 2026 US midterm elections, AIPAC and allied pro-Israel groups spent heavily on candidates across the country, and many of their endorsed candidates won. However, according to a tally by the Quincy Institute, about $55 million of the roughly $84 million spent — nearly two-thirds — went to candidates who ultimately lost, including high-profile races in Michigan, Maine and California.
