UK Green Party votes to recognize Zionism as racism
The UK Green Party has passed a resolution recognizing Zionism as racism at its annual conference in Brighton, describing it as a 'nationalist political project.' The vote passed 1,022 to 813 despite opposition from some party MPs and former leader Caroline Lucas. The resolution repeats a position adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1975 and revoked in 1991.
