Melania Trump calls for peace at meeting with Russia, Ukraine officials
US First Lady Melania Trump hosted Russian and Ukrainian officials at the White House, calling on both sides to build on a recent six-day humanitarian truce in Oleshky and seek a more enduring peace. The White House says it is believed to be the first time a first lady has personally brought representatives of two nations at war together for diplomacy. New US-brokered talks are expected in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11.
