Maduro and Wife Indicted on Torture Charges Involving U.S. Citizen
Former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted on charges of conspiring to commit torture, including against a U.S. citizen, according to a federal court filing in Manhattan unsealed Thursday. The superseding indictment was released shortly before Flores appeared in court seeking pretrial release.
