Japanese Official: Cricket Teams to Get Best Accommodation at ASIAD 2026
Japan Cricket Association CEO Naoki Alex Miyaji said cricket teams will be placed in hotels at ASIAD 2026, while many other athletes face cruise ship cabins or container rooms. The statement responds to concerns over lodging as the games in Nagoya and Aichi expect 17,000 athletes, higher than Paris 2024. Miyaji added that facilities, including a converted baseball field for cricket, will be the best possible given the 17-month preparation window.
