Iran and Oman Agree to Form Hormuz Strait Joint Committee
Iran and Oman have agreed to establish a joint committee for the Strait of Hormuz to enhance maritime security cooperation and address issues related to this strategic oil shipping route. The committee will focus on environmental protection, emergency rescue, and technical cooperation. The first meeting is expected in Muscat, Oman, in the coming quarter.
