Israel extends detention of Palestinian journalist Abed Abou Shhadeh
An Israeli court has extended the detention of Palestinian journalist and political activist Abed Abou Shhadeh, arrested after a raid on his home in Jaffa. Police sought an eight-day extension on suspicion of 'contact with a foreign agent' tied to his interview with Azmi Bishara; the court ordered him held until Sunday, November 8, and his defence team, including Adalah, says it will appeal.
