Strong 7.6 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Panama, Tsunami Warning Issued
A 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck off Panama's southern coast, with the epicenter near Pitaloza Arriba, about 14 kilometers southwest of the remote community. The USGS has warned of possible dangerous waves along the coasts of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and Mexico, while tremors were felt in Panama City.
