Spanish PM: Morocco Not Behind Mass Border Crossing into Ceuta
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on August 17 that no intelligence information points to Moroccan government involvement in the mass border crossing into Ceuta in late July, which saw over 70,000 people enter the enclave. He emphasized that the crisis can only be resolved through cooperation with Morocco, and criticized criminal gangs and disinformation campaigns on social media.
