US Appeals Court Rules Judge Lacked Authority to Vacate Bergdahl Conviction
A U.S. appeals court ruled that a district judge had no authority to vacate the military conviction of Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier held by the Taliban for nearly five years. The panel said only military appellate courts can overturn court-martial rulings.
