KDDI and Japan Post test post offices as drone coordination hubs for disaster relief
KDDI and Japan Post have tested using a post office in central Japan as a hub for coordinating disaster-relief drone flights. The companies plan to refine procedures before considering a nationwide rollout, hoping the post office network can speed aid to isolated areas when roads are severed.
