Japan's IwaiCosmo blames malicious AI use for unauthorized trades
IwaiCosmo, a Japanese securities brokerage, says unauthorized trades took place after its systems were interfered with through the use of malicious AI, according to Kyodo. The company is working with authorities to determine the scope of the impact and prevent a recurrence, and has not yet disclosed the scale of the damage or those responsible.
