South Sudan: More Than One Million People Could Lose Humanitarian Aid as Resources Run Dry
WFP warns that more than one million vulnerable people in South Sudan could lose essential food and nutrition assistance in October unless new funding is secured. Food stocks in Malakal have collapsed from 10,000 tonnes last year to under 300 tonnes, while about 3,000 refugees and returnees cross from Sudan each week.
