Oil Spill from Grounded Tanker Reaches Oman Coast
Oman's Environment Authority confirmed on Wednesday (Aug 13) that oil from the grounded tanker Caroline Bezengi has reached the country's coast, threatening a major environmental disaster. The slick has expanded to cover over 2,000 square kilometres, with beaches near Ras Madraka and Masirah Island at risk.
