Japanese lawmakers visit China in bid to defuse tensions
A cross-party delegation of Japanese lawmakers arrived in Beijing on Monday in an effort to ease strained bilateral relations after Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's controversial remarks on Taiwan sparked diplomatic tensions that are now affecting economic ties.
