Guinness World Record broken as 53 red cards shown in Brazil under-20 match
An under-20 football match in Minas Gerais, Brazil, between Uberlandia and Mamore descended into a mass brawl, leading referee Fernando Patrick Drosghic Modesto to issue a record 53 red cards. The previous Guinness World Record was 36, set in Argentina in 2011. Uberlandia later forfeited the second leg, sending Mamore to the final.
