US Opens Trial of Rwandan-American Accused of Concealing Genocide Role
A federal court in Boston has opened the trial of Eric Nshimiye, 55, a US citizen accused of lying to investigators and a 2019 court about his role in the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Prosecutors say he attacked Tutsis and handed them over to be killed and raped; his defence says the case rests on unreliable witness accounts.
