French PM seeks fast-track security bill after PSG-related riots
French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced plans for an extraordinary parliamentary session in early July to fast-track the RIPOST security bill after PSG-related riots left over 200 injured and one dead. The bill targets daily disorder including illegal parties and pyrotechnics, while expanding police powers. Lecornu also proposed stronger measures to make rioters pay for damages.
