AI Tool Helps Detained Indian Protesters Find Their Way Home
An AI-assisted tool built by 25-year-old Rajiv Choudhary, combined with a volunteer network of more than 130 people, is helping protesters detained by police in New Delhi and released far from the demonstration sites find safe transport home. The initiative, Detainee Gharwapsi Yojana, uses a digital dashboard with AI-assisted data processing, live maps and WhatsApp reports to track police buses and arrange rides, prioritizing minors, the elderly and women.
