President Donald Trump said he will stop using taxpayer money to fund television ads featuring him, after ethics experts and bipartisan lawmakers criticized three nationally aired spots and demanded independent investigations. The ads, which cost at least $1.5 million in federal funds and aired before November's midterms, will instead be paid for by Trump or his MAGA PAC.
