WHO Declares Global Health Emergency Over Ebola Outbreak in DRC and Uganda
The World Health Organization has declared a global health emergency over the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. The outbreak, which began in August 2018, has caused more than 2,500 infections and over 1,600 deaths. This is the deadliest Ebola epidemic since the 2014-2016 outbreak in West Africa.
