Air Canada Pilot Accused of Flying 16 Years Without Valid License

Former Air Canada pilot Geoffrey Wall has been charged after allegedly operating over 900 domestic and international flights between 2009 and 2025 without a valid large commercial aircraft pilot license. Air Canada said Wall held a commercial license but was promoted to captain without the required airline transport pilot license. The airline stressed that safety was not compromised and that the matter was reported to Transport Canada.
