US Midterm Elections 2026
California's 2026 midterm results show Democrats holding the governor's office with Xavier Becerra's win and leading in several key congressional races, including the 22nd and 48th districts, as vote counting continues. A ballot measure to tax billionaires (Proposition 40) is trailing, while a conservative-backed voter ID measure (Proposition 39) has been rejected.
