Thousands March in Greece Demanding Higher Education Budget
Around 10,000 students and teachers marched peacefully in Athens and other Greek cities, demanding more education funding, better facilities and smaller classes. The protests add pressure on Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis ahead of elections expected in 2027, amid a Europe-wide youth-led wave of demonstrations over living costs.
