Khawaja claims entire Australia team knew about 2018 ball-tampering scandal
Former Australia opener Usman Khawaja has claimed that the entire national team knew about the 2018 'Sandpapergate' ball-tampering plot, not just the three players punished. In comments ahead of his autobiography's release, he also alleged the tactic was discussed and used during the preceding Test in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). Cricket Australia said it remains 'comfortable' with its original integrity findings but is open to new evidence.
