NFL's Azeez Al-Shaair Honors Palestinian Children for Fifth Straight Week
Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair wrote the name Maryam Ghanem, a 2.5-year-old Gaza girl whose mother died in an Israeli airstrike, on his eyeblack during the London game — the fifth straight week he has honored a Palestinian child. Fined $11,491 by the NFL for uniform violations, Al-Shaair has refused to back down, saying a human life is priceless.
