US Food Importer Sues President Trump Over 50% Tariffs on Canadian Goods
Gellert Global Group, a New Jersey importer of Canadian cheese, has sued President Trump in the US Court of International Trade, arguing he lacked authority to impose 50% tariffs on Canadian goods without Congress's approval. The company says it paid more than $520,000 in tariffs between September 16 and October 11.
