Brandon Clarke died from heroin and cocaine
Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke died on May 11 from the effects of heroin and cocaine, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The agency ruled his death an accident, noting that prescription drugs also contributed. Clarke, 29, spent his entire seven-year NBA career with Memphis.
