US Teen Arrested Over Alleged Plot to Attack Hindu Temple in Illinois
Alexandros Paporakis, 19, was arrested in Palatine, Illinois, on charges he planned to attack the largest Hindu temple in Aurora. Prosecutors say he called himself a white supremacist and sent a co-worker a manifesto describing Indian, Jewish and Black people as "subhuman." The case has renewed concerns among Indian Americans about rising hostility, fueled by immigration and H-1B visa disputes.
