ICC Suspect Flees Philippine Senate Building
Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, wanted by the ICC for crimes against humanity during the Philippines' drug war, has fled the Senate building after a night of chaos involving gunfire and protests. Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano confirmed his absence on May 14. The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Dela Rosa on May 12, and he had been hiding in the Senate complex.
