Estonia's Education Minister Calls for Global AI Policy in Education
Estonia's Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas has called on Japan and other willing nations to form a coalition to set a global policy on the kind of AI needed in classrooms. The proposal aims to define common standards and guidelines for AI in education instead of leaving each country to set its own rules. It comes as many countries seek to balance AI's benefits against its effects on teaching, assessment and teachers' roles.
