US Supreme Court rejects Trump appeal in E Jean Carroll case for second time
The US Supreme Court declined for the second time to review Donald Trump's appeal in the civil case where he was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation of E Jean Carroll. The jury verdict is now final, with Carroll having received approximately $5.8 million in that case. She also won a separate $83.3 million defamation judgment, which Trump is still appealing on immunity grounds.
