Mississippi Residents Sue Elon Musk's xAI and SpaceX Over Data Center Noise
Three Mississippi residents have filed a class-action lawsuit against Elon Musk's xAI and SpaceX, alleging that continuous noise from a gas turbine power plant serving a data center in Southaven has harmed their health and reduced property values. The lawsuit, announced December 17, 2024, seeks damages for emotional distress and property value loss, as well as a share of profits. The companies have not yet commented.
