Cornell Suspends Fraternity Parties After Campus Gang-Rape Allegation
Cornell University has suspended all fraternity parties and social events through the 2026-27 academic year and transferred authority over campus sexual-crime investigations to New York State Police. The move follows outrage over the school's handling of a 2024 gang-rape allegation at a fraternity house detailed in a lawsuit by an alumna known as Jane Doe.
