Zelensky Imposes Sanctions on Former Chief of Staff Bogdan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions on former chief of staff Andrey Bogdan, freezing his assets and stripping him of state awards. Bogdan, now living in Austria, has been a vocal critic of Zelensky.
On May 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions on Andrey Bogdan, who previously served as chief of staff to the president.
According to the decree published on Zelensky’s website, 17 restrictive measures are applied against Bogdan, a Ukrainian citizen, including asset freezes, suspension of financial obligations, and a ban on land purchases. All his state awards are also revoked indefinitely.
The Strana news outlet reported that Bogdan currently resides in Austria, where he frequently criticizes Zelensky both publicly and in private conversations.
