Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, held a significant meeting with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran. The talks took place as both nations seek to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on regional security issues, defense cooperation, and measures to promote stability along their shared border. General Munir emphasized the importance of maintaining regular dialogue between the military forces of both countries.
President Raisi affirmed that Iran values its relationship with Pakistan and is ready to expand cooperation to ensure regional security and peace. Both sides also agreed to continue coordinating in the fight against terrorism and transnational crime.
