Unauthorized Access at Recruit Disrupts Information Services at Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors

According to breaking news from Kyodo News, an unauthorized breach of Recruit's systems has disrupted information services at Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors.

The incident comes as Japanese companies increasingly rely on third-party information service platforms for internal operations and customer engagement.

There is currently no detailed information on the scope of the impact or when services will be restored. The parties involved have not released a full assessment of the incident.

The development is drawing attention to cybersecurity in the digital service supply chain, where a single incident at a provider can spread to multiple companies that share the same platform.
