Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on his government to take concrete steps to rebuild public trust as the country grapples with a range of economic and social challenges.
Speaking at a meeting with government officials, Pezeshkian stressed that public confidence is a key ingredient for the successful implementation of reform policies. He said the government must listen to the voices of ordinary Iranians and address pressing issues such as inflation, unemployment and inequality.
The president also made clear that pledges must be backed by real action, warning against the pattern of promises that go unfulfilled. He called for close coordination among ministries, government agencies and provincial authorities to ensure that policies reach the public effectively.
In recent years, Iran has faced mounting difficulties driven by economic sanctions and social upheaval. Restoring public trust is seen as one of the top priorities for Pezeshkian's administration as it seeks to stabilize the situation and drive development forward.
